Gas Pool and Spa Heater Work
Gas pool and spa heaters are gas appliances. Gasfitting and Type A appliance servicing scope must be checked before work starts.
Gas heater work may include
- Burners and combustion
- Gas valves and gas pressure
- Flues and ventilation
- Internal gas appliance components
- Commissioning or appliance servicing records
Do not assume
An electrician is not automatically a gasfitter. A pool technician is not automatically a gasfitter. A gasfitter is not automatically authorised for full spa electrical diagnosis.
