Questions to Ask Before Booking

The right question is not just “can you fix it?” It is “what authority covers the exact work?”

What exact fault or job are you attending for? What licence, registration or qualification applies to that work? What is the licence number and issuing body? Is the business authorised to contract for electrical, gas or plumbing work where required? Does the licence cover fault-finding, or only disconnect/reconnect? Does the job involve gas appliance servicing or refrigerant handling? What work do you not perform?
